Greymouth Stopbank Upgrade Stages 2/4/5

This project increases resilience for communities in Greymouth.
Hokitika Stopbank Upgrade Stage 3

This project upgrades the existing stopbank along the north of the Hokitika River on the West Coast.
Franz Josef Waiho River Flood Protection Scheme Upgrade (Stage 2)

This project involves strengthening of the existing Rubbish Dump and Milton & Others stopbanks and extending the existing Havill's Wall stopbank.

Franz Josef Flood Protection Project stopbank construction

The first stage of the Franz Josef resilience infrastructure project has now had its funding of $12.3M approved. Stage One of the projects included the upgrade of the northern stopbanks to protect the Franz Josef township from the Waiho River.
